Screen Options in the WP Editor
Something new in WP 3 is the Screen Options tab. This is actually hiding some advanced editing options from you, so we are going to turn everything on so you can see what these features do! You can find the tab in the upper right hand side of the page, under your username.
Click the tab and it will open to reveal some additional fields you can use to enhance your post:
Buddy Press
Buddy Press is a super-plugin (really a series of components bundled together) that turns your WordPress site into a fully-featured social media community. Let’s take a look:
Buddy Press gives your users a Facebook-style profile, adds forums, gives members the ability to communicate directly with each other. It is pretty easy to set up, but a much more complex site to run. And you must use a theme that is Buddy Press compatible.
