Testing Your Site
There are two types of testing that you should perform on your site, Qualitative Assurance (QA) and User Testing.
QA is testing that you or others on your development team perform to determine if your site has any functional problems. QA should include the following:
- Link testing
- Browser testing
- Functionality testing
User testing is testing that you have members of your target user group perform. The point of this type of testing is to have the user perform the tasks that you defined in your discovery questionnaire, and to give you feedback on the usability of your site.

Choose a partner. You are going to test each other’s sites. Download this form to give feedback to your partner:
When testing the site, the tester should look at all pages in both Safari and Firefox. Note any broken links, missing images, or inconsistencies across browsers. Also, if there is any aspect of the site that is confusing or awkward, note this as well.
